2016 — The Beginning

YAY started with a simple but powerful idea: to preserve memories not just as photos, but in a way that keeps their stories, feelings, and meaning alive.
Today, we bring photos and words together in beautifully designed digital and printed products — simple, reliable, and crafted with love and attention to detail.

2017 / 2018 — Digital Diary & Photobook Designer Launch

We launched the YAY online diary, giving equal weight to photos and text — because without words, the story behind a photo can fade.
A year later, we introduced our photobook software, which automatically incorporates diary entries into elegant layouts for beautifully printed keepsakes.

2019–2021 — New Features, a New World

We expanded our technology: entries can now be filtered by people and dates, making photobooks faster and more intuitive than ever.
During our rebranding, the pandemic changed the world. We shared our vision and talked about Corona diaries and social distancing on TV and radio.

In her TEDx Talk “Stories behind Pictures,” Imme explored how personal memories can connect generations — a message that resonated with many, especially during challenging times.

Since 2022 — Photobook Solutions for Apps

Alongside our B2C offerings, we opened our technology to select B2B partners.
Wedding apps, event platforms, and other services can now automatically transform their users’ photos into high-quality photobooks — including curation, layout, and printing.
